We have a good friend who moved to Texas 2 years ago. Her father had started construction on a horse barn on the family ranch outside of Ft. Worth and became ill, so she went home to take over that task. The barn is almost finished and I hear that it is quite the barn! When completed it will have cost almost farrier tools to build. It is not only large, but it is full of custom features, special powder coating finish on custom wrought iron gates, and a complete apartment for living quarters with an office on the ground floor of the barn.

She has been slowly bringing her horses back to the ranch over the past few weeks. The unfinished parts of the barn have to do with the apartment and won’t interfere with keeping her horses. The rancher who has been boarding her horses during the construction has his own horse trailers and has been bringing them back up to her barn, a few at a time and they are also doing horse hoof care farrier tools.

She is planning on buying her own horse trailers next year, so she can haul the show horses to the different rodeos and horse shows. She told me about the horse trailers with living quarters, so she can be right next to her show horses and now worry about finding a hotel room while at the shows.
